Also, considering the way fuel prices are going, more and more people are turning to diesel. I figure, if you're gonna have a truck, might as well have something that can do some work and not eat your wallet!

I drove one of the company trucks the other day. It's a gasser and I wasn't too impressed w/ the acceleration or the uphill performance. The next day I found out it has a 454 in it of all things! I've heard so many good things about that engine from the "gasser crowd" that I would have expected so much more from it. Heck, my wimpy Powerstroke felt better than this engine on an uphill climb!

Anybody who swears by a gas engine is either blind, stubborn, or only listens to the old reputation of a diesel engine: "noisy, slow, stinky, messy, oil chugging pains in the butt." Diesel technology has come a LONG way in the last 10 yrs.
