Yup, seen Trucks one time when Stacie took a DMax and pulled one of those. On level ground it is not such a huge claim. Probobly any fulsize 4x4 with some weight in the box could make it move. Add any form of a grade to that and they would be going the other direction with that Dodge at the end of the leash.

Oh i'm sorry I was under the impression that the truck in the pic had more than one gear also. like low gear in 4 low.

It's a good pic and i'm not picking on 06dually for posting it, but power has very little to do with what is being claimed. Traction is the deciding factor, which a 8000lb truck on gravel has very little of.

the one on trucks was not that big...it was a flat bed semi with a cat onit....only 100,000 lbs

wow HDMAX, a chevy guy, a fan of the all so confusing motor they call the duramax, yet we both agree, about something....that red ford did a great job of pulling that truck!
j/k with ya....at least your not on here bashin brands....plus my mom has a dmax...i like it....but im a true and loyal cummins die hard!

The fuel delivery timing on a truck like that is set into the 50*+ area.
Of course there are some decent size injectors and huge turbo to go with it.

With timing advanced so much you get the "chug chug chug" sound.

Those are great pictures. But I really think that the Cummins pulling that big HUGE truck is when FORD owned Cummins.

Evertime I watch one of them truck pullin' videos, I get the chills... Just a plain awesome show of power. And the sound... that turbo sounds like it'll never stop getting louder... and louder......and LOUDER!!!
