Dodge "4000" HD truck pic

http://translate.google.com/translat...8%26safe%3Doff

This is a pic of the new HD 4000 truck for sale in Mexico... The link above is a Google-translated page with info on it.

Sorry if you've seen this already. Rumor is that not only are the HDs a reality for the US, but so is the mega cab for '06

Justin

Why is that truck available in Mexico and not here??? Emissions? Safety testing?? I never can figure. I would love a little 4 cyl Cummins Jeep like I have read is available in Europe! I don't ever want to go back to gasoline!!

Emissions is the number one reason, who knows about safety.

Isn't it the same engine they're putting in the '04 2500/3500 models? I don't see how there can be emissions problems unless a different CTD is being used. Stupid rules!

The F650 can be had with the 5.9 ISB at 690 ft lbs... with an allison auto, or 7 speed. Other options are the powerstroke or a cat.

If Dodge makes something for the US to compete, I hope it comes with the 8.3 ISC with 315 hp/950 tq. Add a megacab, or even a COE crew cab, and I'd be visiting the dealership.

I'm sure someone out there would start offering bombs...

That Google translation from Spanish to English is funny! It's a direct translation and all the grammar is wrong...it's Spanish grammar w/ English words...

I like those side steps. Nice and beefy. Looks like they made a cut out in the rocker panel for them. Hmmm...
