Geez Blue... What kind of girl are you dating that wants to go in a vette over your sweet rig? It dont even have a back seat ;D.
In all seriousness I took my uncles viper to prom and we had the best time.
Be good. 8)
First off, I'm not dating her, unfortunately. Second, she loves my truck. She think's it's the best thing since sliced bread. Third, although my truck is nice looking and she loves it, it's just not as refined as the Vette. And since prom is very formal, the Vette just fits the bill better. Besides, pulling up to prom in a convertible 2002 Corvette and watching the look on people's faces as you step out is priceless. Then, when you leave, you throw the top back and do a nice 3 gear burnout in front of everybody. That's even better. ;D I had a blast at prom and I'm going to be uploading pics tonight.
Re:Discussion with a Chevy sales manager....
Sounds like the ol' man has ther money.... Heck I went to my prom in a vette, The ol' man's '64. 385 horse 350 with a 4.11 posi and a 4-spd. The next year I took his '49 Packard Limosine. That one had a straight-8, and passed little brother in the vette, goin about 130 MPH. Not too bad for something that big.

My first ride that I owned after I got my lic. was a 1950 Chev. 4 door deluxe.
I had several $25 and $50 rides to beat around the country side.
It looked like an over grown VW bug.
My granny gave it to me when she bought a newer car.
When I sold it I got $100 [ needed that to finish the money for new motorcycle ] it only had 59,000 miles on it then.
If only I knew then what I know now.
That thing would be worth a mint now.

: Eddie : 8)
Re:Discussion with a Chevy sales manager....
I was watching Dream Car Garage on Speed Channel yesterday.
They showcased a 1970 Hemi 'Cuda convertable.
Properly restored, numbers matching, worth $77,000.
They also spoke of a '71 (only made 9 Hemi convertables that year) that went at auction for over $1 million.

No Spots,
But it tells me the '70 440-6pack 'Cuda that I sold in '78 would be worth a little more than the $1,600 that I sold it for.
X-cuze me while I go into the other room and :'( :'( :'( :'(.
