diff between 2500 and 3500 trucks

I have 2500 mega cab truck and am wondering what it would take to make it a 3500 or be able to pull the weight of a 3500 looking at getting the 8' box thing done to and would like to put a goose neck trailer on it and pull both my bronco and the wifes jeep

On SRW models I think the only difference is the rear overload springs on the 3500.

If you are only pulling a bronco and a jeep why bother? I would pull them with my 2500.

When I bought mine, I found out that the $500 difference in price was just for overload springs. I bought a 2500 and spent the money on air bags. You get a better ride, more stability, and the ability to control how stiff your rear suspension is.

what are you guys paying to have bags installed with pump and everything?

And im assuming your only doing rears for the purpose of hauling correct?

Are you going to replace the short box with a long box 8ft ?

If you just want same capability it's fine but if you want to do it for business you will have to have it re-certified to get the same legal capacity of the 3500.
