I got the new diesel power for March. I liked the article about Dan Scheid and after reading it I noticed the next article on pg 90. Its a cummins powered chevy. I thought it was a nice looking truck from the pics, then I started to read it and found out that the truck was built and is owned by a former professor i had when I was in college. The owners name is Ty Freed, I had him for a few general transportation classes when I was in the Vincennes University Diesel program 4 yrs ago. I just thought it was cool to see someone I knew made it into one of my favorite magazines. I remember the truck before he built it up and I never would have thought from looking at it then that it was destin to be powered by a cummins and be in a magzine.
