Here's another, the ge7fdl shown is about 4400hp. If you click into engine models, the ac6000cw claims 6250GHP. The GM site above seems to get into more detail.

Haven't seen either through the shop on the Canadian national/ Illinois Central yet, but, from what I have seen and heard, I bet the GE is a better unit. Nothing but trouble from EMD and their latest upgrades yet. EMD was so cheap when designing their 4000-4300 HP units they took 2 truck 8cyl fuel inj computers and made a mother/slave out of them for their 16 cyl engines. Actually, that system works pretty well, but their airbrake options suck.
