TRUCK OF THE MONTH

This is "THE BIG ONE"!!

It's time for the end of the year,,,, second chance,,,, take your best pick,,,, one more time around TOM poll.
Make sure you click on the candidate's name to show their profile page where you can then click their Gallery link to view all of their photos.

Don't forget folks,,,, Upload some nice shots of your truck into your

*NOTE* Now would be a good time to go into your profiles and make sure you have your Truck Mods listed. You can do this by clicking at the top of the page and then Edit Profile to put your info in. Nominees are chosen by the TOM committee based on category for that month and forum participation.

****************************************

There might be some changes starting in 2008 that will let the members submit their own truck as a candidate after we have chosen the category for a given month. (Sorry,,,, Past winners excluded) The first rule is that the pictures submitted will have to come from your DTR Member Photo Gallery.

I believe Redline Ram has one of the best looking trucks on here IMO. I know thats saying alot because of all of the trucks on here but, man that pickup is sharp!

What a shame that they used the same pics, old pics and not the updated ones that some of us have in the gallery.

Nice trucks all of you guys have!

That is why I included this statement in the beginning thread
Make sure you click on the candidate's name to show their profile page where you can then click their Gallery link to view all of their photos.
This is one of the reasons we are going to change the way we handle the TOM candidates in the future. You would not believe how time consuming it has been to find pictures in the galleries, then make sure the truck is actually the member's truck and not a buddies or a truck they just thought looked good. Then you have to pull up their post history to make sure it hasn't been sold and they don't have any pictures of their new truck in the gallery (This has happened twice), plus there is always the chance that the person hasn't visited the website since 2002 after he uploaded his pics. AND a bunch of other little things we had to do that just takes a bunch of time.

OK,,,,,, I'm through whining now,,,,,,,,,,

Erska,
I picked a newer picture of yours and put it in the poll.

*Also stay tuned for a post coming in December outlining the new way we are going to do the TOM in the future!

Thanks Travis. This is the worse thing about having 2 people from the same chapter in the running, I almost didn't vote for myself.

Starting to look like the bulk of the voters are First Gen fans.

Can we have it separated out into First gen, Second gen, Third gen for awards? Looks like that's the only way the rest of us have a chance.
