you cant say *******? Sure it's a blanket generalization but it's still my opinion of a place that sells and services trucks and charges (I mean, tries to charge) 100 bucks for a 10 min install of a 12 dollar part. I genuinely felt like they were trying to appropriate an inordinate sum of money for the task in question, I guess if big brother is watching so closely I should not refer to them as THE IVES!
Guys, when you use the dealers service/parts you get the opportunity to pay for all their overhead cost. That includes the elec. bill (which around here, they leave the lights on all night), medical ins. workmens comp. ins., state unemployment tax, federal unemployment tax, SS, medicare, liability ins., business owners ins. and I'm sure I'm missing something, oh, you have to pay for the guy mowing the lawn, the TV, coffee, donuts in the waiting room......Then you have to pay for the part and the tech. installing it........so you see it really IS a bargain!
I forgot to mention the lady doing all the accounting to make sure your bill is paid and she can pay the dealers bills...
