The article says "Cummins powered," I wonder if that is our ISB, or if Cummins is providing a different power plant. Sounds like that Jeep is big enough to take the I6.

Sounds good but I would like to see the finished product rather than a drawing. It is one thing to draw and design something giving all the specs. But it is totally different to actuall make it all work together. Who knows it may be in the building stage right now.

They tend to move very fast from concept to product these days. With all the H2's I see there must be plenty of people to buy that sort of thing.

Could be the 4BT which is basically the same engine in the Dodge, but two cylinders shorter. It makes a nice swap in a Wrangler.

There's been rumors of a Diesel powered Jeep Liberty floating around for a year or so.

Perhaps this is the realization of that rumor?

According to the DC magazine "stratus" they will be introducing the jeep liberty in North America in 2004...it will have the 2.8L common rail diesel motor in it.

That's good for light rescue work, but for serious rescues you want something really solid, like the Unimog. Now, there's a real hauler. Somewhere on this site is a photo of a U900 pulling a railcar! I wanna see F**d top that one....

Well, it looks like F**d did make a copy cat version. What can no one do anything original anymore? http://www.supercars.net/cars/2004@$...0Conceptg.html
