cummins outlets

just a quick question... i went to look for fleetguard filters today, little did i know there is not a cummins outlet within 100 miles of me. so i had to settle for mopar filters which genos site says is okay. the question is do most of you guys order from a distributor, or are you lucky enough to be close to an outlet???

Last time I bought fleetguards was from geno's but i someithes would get them from the company i use to work for on discount. The first one i bought though was from a Cummins service center.

I drive 40 miles to a Cummins service center. They are WAY cheaper than a dealer. The dealer tried to charge me over $40 for a fuel filter. Went to Cummins Mid South, got it for about $12.

I walk the 0.465 mile trek to Cummins Bridgeway if I don't have a spare vehicle. Freightliner also sells Cummins parts... they may have a dealer closer.

brandon.

Don't rule out other diesel shops. I buy all my filters from Inland Kenworth because we no longer have a Cummins dealer in Tucson. The filters are in stock and cost less than the *F* brand at the local parts house.
