Shawn- Does it squeal with the old belt? Have you checked the water pump? The water pump sounds an awful lot like a belt squealing on these things.

 

NOPE, truck does'nt make a noise with the old belt........I will try a gator back....

 

Yep. my belt was chirping on my new 05 and at 8K miles the tensioner went south and shredded the belt,fortunately I made it to the Dodge dealer.They had no spares and none in my local area. The service mgr.took the parts off a new truck in stock and I was on my way in two hrs.

 

Holy crap man... chill out!!

P.S. you got 2 belts for the same dealer...how many do you expect them to stock?

 

Thought I was bad. I got P.Oed at the vcr once and took it out in the driveway and proceeded to run it over many times WITH THE TRUCK!!! I felt better.

 

Hmm... making a list of people to avoid... Maybe the Dr.'s prescription is in order.
