Shut Down Timer
Does anyone use one? I'm installing a pyro gauge so will have that signal input to control a delay circuit for driving a relay. Originally, I thought of using a selector switch for 1, 2, 5 minute delay but if I have a temp input signal, that's even better.

To answer your question, yes several people use them. Some have them hooked up through their SPA guage, and others use a device from Isspro.

Andrew

Re:Shut Down Timer
r_r,

There are a bunch of electronic turbo timers made for the import car market. I have just purchased two- A HKS type 1, and a GReddy.

http://www.greddy.com/

http://www.hks-power.com/turbotimer/index.html

Hookup is rather simple, complicated by the multiple circuits on our Dodge ignition switches. I haven't sat down to figure it all out yet, but am thinking I will probably use a relay to handle the greater load, just to be on the safe side. I also have a remote start alarm sitting here that may become part of the installation.
