Anyone know what kind of diesel engine is in here?
Check out that winch on the front of that thing looks like they took that off a overhead crane....

The front steering is broken, or at least it looks like it. Otherwise I want one for a toy.

 

At the firehouse, the Dodge ton-and-a-half 6x6 has a continental. The truck is a late 70's early 80's

 

The back axle is actually a trailer that can be removed, but is a drive axle as well. Those things are really cool, They had one in 4wheel&offroad a long time ago, They swapped the diesel for a SBC. Pretty easy dropin from what they said

 

They have a screaming Jimmy in them. You need double hearing protection when driving them. Even the Army made you wear earmuffs when driving. Don't do it.

 

It uses a 3-53 detroit 3 cylinder.

 

Yup they are howlers and **** to breakdowns from what I saw

 

They use a sm420 tranny, so that makes it easy to bolt up chevy stuff.
