Calibrate boost gauge ?

My Autometer Phantom series boost gauge is 3# off. I'd like to correct it if possible. With the engine off, the needle rests at 3# I can disconnect the line at the back and suck on the fitting and get it to move to the 0 mark, but as soon as it's back at atmospheric pressure, it reads 3# again.

Can this be fixed, or am i just SOL

Depends, is it in warranty? If so, Autometer will repair it for free, something like 10 bucks if it isn't. If you aren't worried about the warranty, there should be an adjustment, usually a small screw.

I used to calibrate pressure gauges as a previous mos in the marine corps and when they would be off the needle would get pulled off and reset where it needed to be. Not sure if these kind of gauges are like that.

These gauges are not meant to come apart (at least and not supposed go back together).
Sent this boost gauge back to Autometer. They confirmed it was off, said it couldn't be repaired and sold me a new one for $35
