I'd rather hit myself in the head with a hammer than think it would be better to pull the cab on my truck to replace my six injectors. Ford boys can have that monster all to themselves.

Sorry, fourteen hours was a typo. Did not mean to mislead anyone. I do have a buddy that the dealer tried to charge 16 hours for cab removal......it was the second time for injector replacement.....he new better........ was a 2004 or 05 6.0.

I'm sure if you look that up the "shop time" isn't anywhere near 2hrs. That being said I'm sure a guy that works on Fords all the time can remove the cab as fast as the average owner can replace injectors in a Cummins.

Ford and Dodge build there truck cabs in the same way, the cab and front end are the same piece, a unibody type construction, as far as ive seen the chevys arnt, the front end on those are seperate from the cab.

That isn't an issue. You don't remove the cab or the front clip to pull a Dmax. My point was if you do something enough it becomes easy and you find shortcuts. The topic of this thread is pulling the cab to work on a Pstroke. To someone who's never done it it sounds horrible, same as most would think looking under the hood of a chevy. Some people on here take a week to swap injectors on a Cummins, while others can do it in a commercial break. If I had a choice I'd rather pull the cab on a Ford than pull the carbs off a 1200cc Yamaha waverunner again.
