Any experience with International Auto?

Does anyone know what Automatic was offered in the early-mid 80's s2500 Internationals? It has a dt466, so im guessing its prob a Allison version.

Are these autos any good for getting higher miles outa them?

It's an Allison. The hydraulic controlled Allisons I've had experience with were fine except for the crappy 545 unit they put in school buses and the like.

Yea those 545s are junk, tons of pump failures with the ones I have messed with.
