I think the parts are resonable, we snapped an axle in our other mack 2 days after we crashed one. That was a sunday, monday mourning we had to go 17 miles and had one by 830 am for $240. Took 2 hours to change and back to hualing dirt. We have a line on a cab in jersey 2k for a complete cab, everything in it. This will be on the wrecked truck.

I had an 85-300 as a beet truck. Great in the fields, just walk it out of the dirt - kept good pace with the harvester. Sold it, along with the 3 Oliver tractors, 2 harvesters, with the farm a month ago.

I bought an '89 RD690 tandem for the company I work for two years ago. It had the EM6-300 with a 7 speed (two on the low side and five direct) 48K rears (5.11 gears), on Camelback suspension. It is used off road to spread lime and fertilizer, I think the most we can get on it is 16T. The truck is no speed wagon but it won't get stuck and will crawl across any western PA hill. I bought it from Martin's Farm trucks in Chambersburg, not a bad price at $18K. Then I caught a bunch of slack from the company bean counter for buying an old truck, he thought I should have used a newer and a Freightshaker road tractor w/tractor air ride suspension.....don't even get me started.

Yea there is nothing like the mack camelback susp for dumptrucks. Were goin for the new one sunday night. Tomorro evening were goin for the new excavator, 01 JD 160LC. Well be back in action tuff now.
