I lost a motor in my service truck ( 6.6 ) anyone ever swap a 7.8 in place of a 6.6 in a f700. Is it a direct swap? Im not looking to get to involved or I would put a cummins in its place . Im just looking for the quickest route. I can find 7.8's all day long. (mostly out of loisevilles, I have a f700) But ive heard mixed opinions regarding the change. Also, are there any differences between the manual trans and automatic motors?
