"Like a big block gasser." What a back handed slam from a diesel owner. I don't want a diesel that sounds like a gasser. I want a diesel that sounds like a diesel. I want it to ride like a truck, pull like he$$ and I want people to know I mean business when I pull up in the thing. I mean, people don't even say "it sounds like a big block gasser" about big block gassers. Why? BECAUSE IT'S AN INSULT.

Hmmmm... I wonder what he means by that? Im not putting him down or trying to start any battle. My question is sincere. Ive never heard a Cummins make that noise upon startup? Do different years of the Cummins engine make different sounds upon starting? Rich.

"Yeah, anyone worried about the new engine being so quiet you don't know it's a diesel can stop worrying. It's definitely quieter, much quieter, but there's still that diesel sound. You know to me, it almost sounds like a Cummins engine, but with the volume **** set on 4 (instead of the usual "11" !!!)" In reference to the quote above.... Just keep dreaming that it's a Cummins!

I guess mine is stuck on 20# I'm trying to get it to 30. any ideas. I already got the stacks pointed straight out to the side. Roll down the windows and right there it is. ;D

"big block gasser" "Cummins" soudns to me like those ford boys are either wanting a gas engine or a CUMMINS real bad!!
