24v to 12v conversion

Hey guys, i have four 12v long blocks, three new and one was used as a gen set motor. My question is, what would be involved in dropping in the 12v? Would the transmission line up? Drive shaft length work? My plan is since I have a 53 block that before it craps out I am gonna do the swap, and make the 01 all mechanical. Any ideas or help is appreciated.

Good question. I'm pretty sure it'll all fit. If you're going completely 12v, it shouldn't be a problem... cept for your interfaces to the gauges and what-not.

I'm interested to see some conversation on this topic.
