i was driving through san marcos texas and some some 08 ford on the lot for sale. was thinking about going for a test drive but i had to be somewhere. Wonder when dodge is going to release the the 6.7 is pick up bodies

 

From what i am hearing the 6.7 will be in the pickups in March 2007, I was told this by my local dealer.

 

Never buy the first year of a newly released moter!!
We've got a pile of ford trucks on the ranch ( not my chioce) and buy far the worst one is an 03 6.0l ford.
Funny thing is my 6.4l tt should be here the end of March, Some people never learn.

 

Everytime I turn around I see something about the 6.4L Furd, Brittany Spears and Anna Nicole Smith.....yikes!!

 

I stopped at our local Ferd dealer after a visit to the Dodge dealer last sunday and they had a 08 F350 and a F550 sitting next to it. I have to admit, that interior is a heck of a lot nicer and I was digging the 19.5's on the 550. However, Im still waiting to see what problems they have with the engine!

Doesn't matter, every Ford Ive ever bought crapped on me. I just don't have luck with them. Lots of friends loved them though. Guess we'll see how they do compared to the Dodge!

Don't remember if I saw it here or on another forum but a shop dynoed the 6.4L. 275hp/630tq. Not that impressed with the numbers.

How are you not impressed with those numbers? 630ftlbs of torque to the ground when it's only supposed to have 650 at the flywheel. However, I seriously doubt that torque number is correct!

 

275hp and 630tq at the rear wheels is fantastic for a stock truck, especially the torque number. Holy cow, 630 at the rear wheels?

How can you not be impressed with that?

 

I know Fords aren't very well liked on here......but I wouldn't mind having a new F-450 pickup.

In Devine Texas, a black one and a white one, both 08's, again i couldnt stop to test drive them... but they are there...

the hp is 375 not 275. that thing given no problems is going to womp.

 

where do you get 375 from ? The engine is rated at 350.

 

I think there talking about power to the rear wheels, a different deal than rated output.(which I belive is 350 not 375)

Saw a post on another forum that the 6.4L engine already has a few oil leaks that are in need of being fixed.
