08 Chevy 2500 ext. cab 4x4??

I am thinking about trade my 06 dodge for an 08 chevy 2500 diesel with an allison?? What do u guys think or suggest??

Do you really post on this forum with a question like that? Are you kiding me.Well,a real answer,I would keep the Cummins hands down.Ive had or have been around Ford and GM alot and thats why I own Dodge.If you knew me 15 yrs ago you would not believe I wrote this.

well the red tag sale price is 33,000 something and sticker price is 44,000 so thats a pretty good deal I think?? Depends on weather or not they give me enough 4 my truck trade in is 21,500 on mine so??

Keep in mind that the 2008 Chevy diesel gets very poor fuel mileage. We have 4 of them in our company fleet. 2 2006, 1 2007, and a 2008 The best milage with the 08 is about 13 mpg. Also it has had problems with the emissions equipment, you will be driving on the highway and the check engine light will come on and it will drop power to the point it will only run 25 MPH. I would keep the Dodge unless you are looking at a pre 2008.
