Price on 97 2500 4x4 Ext Cab
Hey guys!
Looking to join the CTD club and I found a 1997 2500 ram ext cab longbox 4x4, auto, 115,000 miles. Great shape but has a rebuilt title. Was rebuilt at 62000 miles and seems pretty decent. Mostly suspension damage, the guy has receipts, loks good. Hes asking $11,700. I think the salvage title should knock it down to $8500-9000. Any opinions? Im a little worried about the tranny but it has not otwed anything at all- ie no 5th wheel hitch. Never been bombed. (until I get to it ;D! I plan to tow a small boat and a 30' travel trailer occasionally.

Where do you live? I've got one that is slightly bombed for sale. has 143,000, asking 14,500. good shape. check it out in the 2nd gen. in classifieds. it is a 97. and if you do buy that other truck you will never be able to put full coverage on it because it has a salvaged title.

buying something witha salvaged title is like marriage....when u part with it...u loose everything!
seriously tho...i would have no problem buying the truck...altho it would have to be in the 10k price range....i say get it for that much and u have a pretty good deal provided you get it checked out by a professional and find out WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. let me know if i dont buy it...where are you located by the way?
