06 Dodge Cummins or 05 LLY Duramax???

My dilemma.... What to do????

Used Trucks 4x4's

2005 Chevy Duramax LT (loaded) w/toolbox, nerf bars, and Bully Dog programmer
$30,485 turn key on the Duramax with 17,000 miles

2006 Dodge Cummins Diesal (SLT)
$32,263.80 turn key on the Dodge with 29,000 miles

$1,878.80 difference

You will get 99% responses saying get the Dodge, this is a Cummins forum after all

They would both be good trucks, but I would rather have the straight 6.

Are there gauges on the D-max? I WOULD NOT buy a BOMBed truck without them.

Best deal I can get here on a new one is $36,188 out the door for either a Larmie Quadcab or SLT Megacab. Both the same price.

Drive them both, get the one you like best, I wouldn't let 2k$ stand in your way of getting the one you like. Both are great trucks. Good luck

I personally would not buy a previously Bombed DMax--------The Mileage on the 06 is pretty high showing that the truck was probably used for Highway Towing???????? Buy a new 06 on a lot somewhere and dont pay over 33,000. I know where you can fly in and be driving one in a couple of hours at that price!
