04.5.

It is an 04.5 if:

Build date is after Jan 04.

It has a Cat.

It has an electronic wastegate.

The engine specs say that the horsepower is 325 and the torque is 600/625.

Don't forget it has a different head. It actually has a upgraded turbo with electronic wastegate.

The triple nickel trucks are the federal '03 and '04 HO models with 305 HP and 555 ft lbs of torque.

Cali. engines were 235 HP. They are the SO engines and also have lighter duty axles and 5 speed sticks. Don't they also have cats?

I always heard (never owned one) that the 555tq trucks offered good towing power and better fuel mileage than the later higher output trucks, any truth?
