Trans shop

Hey guys, I just got a 06 2500 w/ a 6 speed, Im going to started modding it pretty good, so I want to get Dual Disk clutch installed, I called a couple of shops and no one will mess w/ it. Anybody know any shops around Atlanta or N. Georgia to do the install? I called Garmon, but he wanted double from what I hear the average should be.

How much moddin' are you planning? Do you really need a double-disc? Why don't you do it yourself? I did my 91 last November and saved $600. I replaced the 12 inch disc with a 13 inch CON OFE and I can't make it slip. That said if you don't want to do it yourself, talk to Mike at Mr.Transmission in Canton on Hwy 140.

Peace,
Joseph

Well, I just got a Smarty, Im planning on turbo (maybe twins), injectors, Mod CP3, and Im the type of person who goes overkill. Also, Im getting it at the same list price as the OFE single. As far as doing myself Im somewhat mechanically inclined, but I have never done anything with a tranny. And I just moved up to roswell and dont many of tools, or a place to do it.

Hey guys, just saw this post. I apologize for being hard to get ahold of. We have been building onto our house and things have been crazy. But if you can't get me, just leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as i can.
