Talking Stanadyne in the mail

Well, after reading all the testimonies, I ordered a case of Stanadyne on Monday and Got it today. If anybody wants a website that sells is for a good price and ships extremely fast, try www.scheiddiesel.com . This website was recommended to me by another member on DTR. I only paid $2.76 a bottle (if you order it in bulk, if not it comes out to $3.01 or something around there) and a case has 24 in it, so it came out to $66.24.

Now all I need is a truck

I am going to look at 2 on Friday, and if all goes well then I will be driving home in one of them. Feel like a lil kid counting down the days till Christmas.

I used to buy mine through the mail also.
Then I went to Stanadyne's website and found a local Diesel Injection shop in Springfield Virginia that carries it.
I buy it by the 5 gallon pail (~$149.00 works out to ~24 cents per oz.) and save on the shipping.
PS: I'm in Arlington near Seven Corners.

Stanadyne is a brand of diesel fuel additive.
They make several formulas, with lubricity additves and cetane boosters.
www.stanadyne.com

With the itroduction of Ulta low Sulfer Diesel Fuel, lubricity additives will become less and less of an option.

Man, that's right up the street Shovelhead. So you really feel my pain about the traffic around here, It gets pretty rough.

Hey fishing father, I've read, most of the threads (if not all) on here about different fuel additives and I was sold on Stanadyne. The other big one is Power Service. Search some threads and see for your self what additive is best for you.

Thanks, I just got finished one about Marvel Mystery Oil and other oils. So does everyone run some sort of addative every tankfull? I only run one about once a year in my gas vehicles to keep them clean.

I treat every tank with stanadyne, I can tell a difference if I don't run something. Ol' gray gets all noise on me if I don't.

After driving here for the past 32 years, it's not so bad.
You will quickly learn that leaving 15 minutes earlier or later can mean the difference of as much as 30 minutes in your drive time.

I work in SW DC and my normal morning commute is ~30 minutes from my front door to my desk.

Buying by the 5 gallon pail works out to ~24 cents/ oz. or $1.92 for an 8 oz dose.
