post your gas mileage
im an idiot so does anyone know how to post a poll so i can get an idea of what everyone is getting gas mileage wise? im getting 15mpg on a good day. just kinda wondering if thats normal.
FYI, we don't get GAS mileage
but we do get fuel mileage from a diesel engine
Right now with winter fuel and cold temps I get between 14.5-16 mpg combo driving 75% hwy 30% city. Last summer I would get between 18.5 and 20.5 mpg on the Hwy empty and about 15.5 in town.

Are y'all hand calculating or using the over head?
I don't think it's physically possible to get 25 mpg with a 7500lbs truck. Unless your coasting down hill. A very LONG hill.
I'm averaging right at 15.9 (hand calculated) right now driving about 75% highway.

I am getting 18.5 - 19.2 hand calculated (and kept in a spread sheet) with 80/20 highway/city with my truck in sig. Some people are getting better than that with different boxes and programmers.

27, not 17, 27 only in town hand calculated, hwy on the other hand is like 20 hand calculated.
I've averaged 15 city and 19 highway hand calculated through 3 tanks of fuel now. I just did put the new tranny and fuel system in and the truck drives like a completely different truck. So far i've gone 140 miles and the gauge hasn't even moved.

its so cold I have to let it idle for 1 hour in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon leaving work
