$2.85 ulsd - Walmart I35 & 3009
$2.99 ulsd - Valero 1604 & 281
$2.89 20bd - Shell 1604 & Military dr.

Fortunately other than at mom and pop stores, we haven't really seen $3.xx here yet in San Antonio.

Well i traveled back to my hometown of Manhattan, Kansas for the weekend and had to fill up to come back to Colby, Kansas and paid $3.06/gallon. Pump finally stopped at $70.05 and i was sitting at 3/8 before we filled up. I'm so sick of fuel prices. Back when i bought my 24v in early 2006, i could fill up my truck off of Empty for right at $65.00. Now it would be over $100 if off of Empty. However i also drove over 300 miles yesterday afternoon after filling up and now i'm sitting at 3/4. I love my milage, i haven't filled up again to figure it out yet but i usually get right at about 20-22 at 70-72mph on interstate. I'm just tired of thse high prices. Might have to buy me a Bike next spring to ride back and forth to work and just use the Cummins to haul the horse's and skidloader. Either that or get my 1987 Toyota 4Runner back from my dad and start driving it again. lol. He's driving it right now until he can get a new truck after wrecking his.

For those who want to know why diesel fuel is so darn high priced here is some info that many may not have read about. FYI, I quote from Flint Hills Resources web site for Minnesota. The refinery completed one of its largest projects ever in May 2006. This $350 million project allowed the refinery to produce ultra low-sulfur diesel fuels and convert diesel fuel to gasoline to meet market demand.

Here, the prices are at $3.15 for the cheap station and $3.35 at Cheveron. Which makes no sense since #2 is #2 geuss they think they have a captive/ loyal audience (not like they put techron in it). I remember when ULSD was on its way that the mags. said it would cost .15 -.20 cents more per gallon (permanant) than Low sulfur. Due to the fact that they have to change refineing procces/equipment, and the lubricity addatives they have to add just enough of so everyone wont sue when there motors get fried. I still say take the taxes out and we would all be alot happier.(dang beaurocrats) Either that or really make this war about oil! All the protestors say it was about oil but I haven't seen our supplys increase! We atleast should get our moneys worth for the sacrifice's of our country!!

#2 is from about 3.49-3.69/gallon around here right now. Outrageous if you ask me.
