Diesel jumped 16 cents today from2.71 to 2.87 at the truck stop . The truck stop 18 miles east of here was at 2.69 and went to 2.71. Why would there be such a big difference?? It is always way cheaper in the other town. Im am strongly considering of sellin my truck. Diesel is always .30 to .35 cents a gallon higher than gas.

$2.659 last night.
My local station that ALWAYS sold 45 cetane fuel has started selling plain-old 40 cetane fuel.
of course the price is the same.......... 
Unleaded gas was $2.639, Mid Grade gas was $2.69

acording to gasbuddy.com their Diesel price is $2.679 this morning.
Edit: The following morning it was $2.71 gal.

local gas station has regular unleaded 87 octane for $3.05 today, super is $3.25.
#2 diesel is still $2.85.
seems like gas has gone up more than $.30 in the last week or so. I've been taking full gas cans to fill my boat tank every couple of days and each time I come back the price has gone up sharply.

Am I seeing a trend of diesel being lower priced than unleaded on the west coast. You guys need to send that wave eastward because diesel is still the king of the higher price in my part of the country.
Usually .20 cents or more above the premium unleaded right now. We need the good ole days when diesel was always .10 to .15 cents per gallon cheaper than the regular unleaded.
Yesterday diesel was $2.899 here local station for me. but I did find it for $2.639 a little ways from work at a Walmart.

Tonight in Annandale Virginia at the Hess station.
Diesel $2.71
Regular unleaded $2.71
Mid Grade $2.81
High Test $2.91
Gas & Diesel @ the same price.
Unfortunately, diesel went up 20 cents a gallon in the past month, and gasoline has caught up.

5 miles down the road its been 13 cents cheaper all week 
and people still line up at the higher price station.....
