Name your $/gallon
The American Revolution was sparked by the punitive taxes on a commodity of the day - tea; the next revolt may well be catalyzed by the high cost of energy due to our government's punitive tax rates and anti-oil, anti-nuke energy policy.
I don't know if you have any Canadians in this thread(I'm not going to read through 65 pages) but its $1.20 a liter which is $4.60 a gallon I think. So I would be happy with $4.00 bux a gallon or whatever.
Time to buckle down and stock up
Well I couldn't stand it anymore, I parked the Cummins and took the wife's VW Cabrio. Although she got the better end of the deal, she got a 2001 Vovlo V70 XC. It gets pretty good mileage for a turbo charged 5-cyclinder wagon, 24 around town and about 30 highway. I'll still use the truck on weekends or when I need to haul something around, but for the everyday stuff and travel to/from work, the VW is it.
BTW, regular gas at BJ's $3.099 and diesel at nearby station $4.099. That's why I can't take it anymore.

It's STILL $3.899 at the station I use.
Took 30.624 or so for 601.6 miles for 19.8xxx
I pulled my tank trailer to Beaumont and back yesterday on this tank.
I say this a lot.... I LOVE THIS TRUCK! I'm pretty sure I'd never find another as good!
