Just climbed over $2.40 again, Flying J was at $2.38 for the longest time.

Weird thing is gas has been rising since before the holidays, started out just over 2, now I'm seeing $2.25 again??

So, we have yet to see the winter increase that shows the heating oil demand, yet gas is going to climb out of the summer driving season??

Uh, yeah, makes sense.

Anyone want to guess what disaster or event will be blamed for the next huge rise in fuel prices?

I'm going to go out on a limb (abbreviated version)

WWIII.
End of March Isereal bombs Iran. We are friendly with them so we move ourselves to the Iraz/Iran border. Problem is, China is tight with Iran
Yes, China, the ones who literally out-number us by 3 to 1. Full engagement with the second largest army in the world, draft reinstated,
Shazam, Gas @ $5.00 a gallon, Diesel @ $6.75.

Hasn't been below $2.70's for as far back as the summer here in upstate NY, currently $2.79 at the corner station, $2.84 at the local truck stop. Gas has been running $.50 cheaper for regular all along.

Talking Poor Oil Execs

What do ya expect.
The big oil company's only made $10 BILLION last quarter instead of $11 BILLION.

I suspect it has something to do with Iran and their nuclear program and unwavering stance on being able to create WMDs. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060114/ap_on_re_mi_ea/iran_nuclear;_ylt=AhNmcvgvKXyxs5ApGeGMi.ys0NUE;_yl u=X3oDMTA3b3JuZGZhBHNlYwM3MjE-

Another unsettling problem with the Extremists in the Middle East causing problems.
