what fuel additives would you use for a 2000 dodge 3500?? i read some stuff on here from ATF(not good to run) to 2stoke....i want to know the best brand ment for the dodge diesels...how often to run it..ect ect...thanks for your time
diesel kleen white bottle in winter silver bottle in summer. stanadyne preformance formula year round. meaner power cleaner by howes this does not have anti gel for the winter.these are the one,s you hear the most about .diesel kleen is the least expensive and the easiest to find.you can find meaner power cleaner at truck stops and stanadyne on the internet and diesel shops.i have tried them all plus more over the past 7 years in three different trucks.i get the best results with the stanadyne preformance formula for year round use.what ever you choose run it all the time now that we have low sulphur fuel you need it to lubricate and clean your injectors.
thanks for the info...i called the local preformance diesel shop here and they said that they sell the stanadyne...its made by the a company that makes injection pumps...but thats pretty expensive...i know my buddy uses the powerservice in his..would it hurt if i used that most of the time and the stanadyne every once in awhile???or should i just stay with one kind?? thanks again

I've tried them all. For me the best bang for the buck is Power Service. Stanadyne isn't worth the money IMO. I ran it for 6 straight tanks and didn't see much of a difference. Howes Meaner Power Cleaner every once in awhile.
