first time biodiesel truck stalled won't start

With fuel prices the way they are I filled up my 95 2500 with B100 had some #2 already in there, about 20%. About 2/3 of the way through the tank she stalled out and wouldn't start. I changed the fuel filter and bled the lines. Still doesn't start or even act like it wants to. I checked the fuel lines as best I could. Any suggestions on where to go from here would be greatly appreciated.

Wow...never heard of B100 doing that to a truck...Is your fuel filter full of fuel after priming?Check shutoff switch and make sure its all the way up in start mode.If no fuel in filter maybe your pre-heater screen is clogged or the fuel moduel screen got clogged...

Got to figure that with 18 years worth of #2 deposits to clean up that it could have clogged the heater or tank screen.
Would probably be wiser to start out with a lower percentage of BD on an older truck so all the crud doesn't cut loose at once.

Thanks for the replies. I checked the fuel heater and the prefilter and it needs to be cleaned. I read an earlier thread on how to do it, but do I have to replace the screen or can I just clean it. And how do I do that?

I would think you could just clean it. Pull it spray it out with carb or brake parts cleaner and re install. I replaced mine a few yrs back but this was only because I already had a new one in hand. The old one was pretty much as clean as the new one though.

Could be anything.. the fuel pickup screen , the filter, the strainer inside the fuel heater assy. I doubt anything got past that filter though. a stock truck its just before the injector pump. A fuel pressure gauge is a good investment even on a stock pre-VP truck. vulcan performance can source a combo of line and fittings if you want to add one.
biodiesel can loosen up gunk in the fuel system. You might want to run a biocide for a couple tanks, just to make sure theres nothing growing in there.

It's wise to have the sealing quad type o-ring on hand before you take the heater apart since sometimes it's not reusable. The kit that has a screen and o-ring is less than $10 might as well replace both while you're at it.
More instructions and part numbers here http://dodgeram.org/tech/dsl/filter/pre-filt_clean.htm

Thanks Infidel, I already took it apart and the oring is pretty hammered. I could probably get away with it, but I don't operate that way. I am having hard time finding the part without going to the dealer. Any suggestions?
