Filled up last night, 4.09.99/gal, ouch
I average 15 to 17 in town and 21to 22 on the highway if being conservative.
no thats not off my overhead, overhead reads anywhere from 18-20. ive come to see its approx 3 miles off so thats how i get my mpg. if it shows 20, i know im getting around 17... its not the most accurate but its **** close. as far as how... i keep my foot out of it, tires properly inflated, fluids at the right levels, smarty on a reasonable setting and just take my time.
What did you get before you had the smarty? Did it improve your
mileage at all?
Maybe something is wrong with my rig, bad injectors? I have the 3.73 gearing.
I can't think of anything that would cause my mileage to be so far below yours.
Even when I take it easy, that's when I get the 13.5 mpg... lol.

China is a big part of the blame, they are now useing something like 46% more oil then they did just a few years ago. With all the money we send there way they are expanding there country, soon there going to be the new world power.
I want the new Ford feista nice looking compact, 1.4l gets 70-75 mpg on highway and the 1.6l is around 60. Make some bio and call it a day lol. Both engines are diesel and both make enough power to get out of its own way. I belive the 1.4l was around 60 hp and the 1.6 was around 90 so you figure that prob close to 120 and 180 lbs of torque in a car that weights nothing lol.

with this thought process going on around the country, the media making it seem like you have to drive a honda and get 50 mpg pretty soon this country will look like a typical city in France or Spain or just about anywhere in Europe. Little tiny cars, 50, gazillion of the dam things, zipping around everywhere and your trusted govt officials riding in limos suckin 8 mpg numbers. Keep in mind how much you make an hour... how many miles you drive and what that cost per mile is, not how much it costs to fill up... but how and when you drive. A per mile reimbursement at my company is now .50c a mile. Up from .42c a mile last year. So you don't get 20 mpg, so you only get 10. It isn't about the mileage, it's about the cost per mile and what you get for that mile. My truck takes me back and forth to work, I knock down $2k a week and I can afford it. I don't have to like it, I just don't waste my miles on driving 20 miles for a cup of coffee at the convience store, or driving 10 miles to buy a milk shake and a burger, instead I eat at home or stop on my way home from work. Pack a lunch and don't drive to the fast food stop... there's lots of ways to absorb the cost of a few cents increase. If you contribute to the mania of OMG fuel is topping $4.00 a gallon, you don't help anybody. You think buying a honda or some other import is going to help the american economy? It might help the japanese economy more. Convince your legislators and govt dumb assets to bring jobs back to american instead of job shopping it out to the overseas countries, impose tariffs on that cheap wal mart stuff and watch those countries start changing their consumption of the oil.
Oh well...
I'm done ranting.... it does no good anyway. There's always someone P.O.'d at whatever you say.

$4.19-$4.22 a gallon!!!!!!!!! I am paying about $120.00 a week to go to work!! My ship just bought 11,500 gallons the other day and it was around 4.00 a gallon. I don't see how the national economy will pull through this? Diesel was cheaper then gas when I got my truck, now....................???
I don't get good mileage with winter blend (16-18 MPG) but I do alright with the summer stuff (around 24 MPG Highway)

I just drove 2240 miles across the country and saw anywhere from 3.69 to 4.09. Get this though.
