funny how as soon as the senate starts investigating, prices drop.......its all a smoke show with upcoming elections anyways,,,but, why do you suppose they didnt investigate before now?i guess demand has just stopped?supply has magically doubled?its all crap, and nobody should be happy with fuel at these costs,it shouldnt be 2 bucks a gallon..and i dont buy the whole ,liberal enviromentalist made them go low sulfer and thats why it costs more than gas now bit.gas has been made to higher standards also, sothe original differences should remain close to the same..........bama

$2.89 at the Phillips on the corner,

but he'll raise them twice in 1 day if he has to.

1 day later, Phillips back up to $2.99, guess he figured he jumped the gun since the Chevron and the Sinclair didn't go lower than $2.99.

Gas - 84.5/Litre = about $2.82 US/gal
Diesel - 93.9/Litre = about $3.13 US/gal

Just for comparison.....It still needs to drop another 10-15 cents/litre......

Thumbs down diesel fuel price?

Back in Sept. when oil was at $73 per barrel, our gas price was about $1.14/L here, which is about $4.56/ gallon. Diesel was about .96cents/litre(about$4/gallon). Now,oil has dropped to about $57per barrel, and gas is at $.76/ litre here(about $3.04/gallon). Gas is close to $.40less per litre less. Can anyone tell me why diesel is still $.96/litre, when the price of oil is about $16 less per barrel??

Supply and Demand.......This time of year is also the fuel heating season so the price of Diesel will stay high until heating season is over and they rebuild the reserve again

I've seen prices as low as $2.15 gal for 40 cetane diesel in Fredericksburg Virginia.

Sure beats the $3.50s we were paying a month or so ago.
