In Colorado Springs regular gas is generally around $2.43 but diesel is $2.95 to $2.99. Isn't it strange how the fuel prices dropped AFTER the hurricane wreaked their havoc and took out some of our refining capability from what the prices were before. Does price gouging come to mind? BTW, I discovered today, although it may have been here for some time, there's a bio-diesel outlet in Colorado Springs. I think I'm going to give it a try even though it's not any cheaper than regular pump diesel. At least it should help the local farm economy some and keep less of my hard earned $$ from going to the big oil companies and over seas.

Unleaded has dropped to around $2.37-$2.45, diesel finally dropped a few cents - cheapest I saw last night was $2.91 (down from $2.99). Wish we would see some of those 80-cent drops others areas are....

$2.89 at the Phillips on the corner,
the Chevron on the other corner was still at $2.99, but he usually takes his time lowering them,
but he'll raise them twice in 1 day if he has to.
