I hope the present downward trend for diesel prices continues.

But I ain't bettin' the farm on it.

 

Prices around here have dropped from your first born kid to just your arm and a leg.

 

$2.79 for diesel in Winona It was $3.21 last week end. Hastings is usually a bit lower . Heading up there in the morning.

 

couple places down south jersey have gone below the 2 buck mark, several at 1.98 gal for reg........ fuel on the other hand is still over 2 by a fair bit, closer to 2.50 almost miss my gasser.

 

$2.57 there now. If it was still at $3.00 or higher it would have been cheaper to fill the big tank up here.
I will be filling it in Cheyenne as its the cheapest on my route.
At 2000 rpm I am getting 19.9-20.2 mpg

Drove from illinois over to Eastern Michigan over the weekend.

Noted a $2.49 diesel price in Indiana along 80-94, average around 2.59 - 2.69. In Michigan diesel was running 2.69 - 2.89 depending upon location.

Of course I get back to western Illinois and it's still 3.15/gal...

 

Prices here were anywhere between 2.99 and 3.45 depending on city and station....The station with 3.45 just dropped to 2.95 2 days ago...All other are still 2.99-3.19....I dunno if they werent selling fuel, or if they just got a load of winter grade...Gonna ask when I fuel up next time

 

My normal gas station finally dropped to $2.79 today. Previously it was stuck at $2.99. I filled up at a Kangaroo 3 miles up the road for $2.65 that is having a price war with a Hess. While I was in VA this weekend I saw fuel for $2.35 outside of Dublin. Wish I filled up because I drove for 20 miles to find $2.71. Average I saw between VA and SC was between $2.89 and $2.99. I am starting to feel better about trying to sell my gasser now.

 

It was interesting seeing the local Speedway go from 3.49 to 2.69 overnight?! Must not have been selling much since they were up at the 3.49 mark while everyone kept dropping and dropping... Cheapest I've seen so far is 2.63 at the Pilot...

Truck stop on I-44, outside St louis, $2.43 gallon this morning.

 

Dropped overnight here from $3.49 to $2.69....80 cent drop overnight???
none of this is making any sense at all..

yeah... it's ridiculous... wish it would drop another .80
