blend of fuel

our only local station that carries bio only uses a 5% blend.. is this worth the switch. another co. is carrying a 15% blend but it requires a co. card not a debit or credit. so the first seems like my only option if i want biodiesel any opinions????

Even with 5% you won't need any lubricity additive.
A 1% blend increases straight #2 diesel's lubricity by 30%, B5 by 150%
Plus you will be giving 5% of your money to American farmers instead of foreigners.

Bio Diesel is good stuff. I run 2% all the time. It does get cloudy and thick below zero, but the trucks still runs fine.

One of the things about living in the philly area is that there isnt any bio-diesel available. Id love to run b15-20 if i could get it, just to stick it to the oil companies and also for what it would do for my truck.

too bad im not a chemist or id make my own, seems like you have to be from what ive read
