Question biofuel For $.46 a gallon????

Has anyone heard of biofuelbasics. They claim you can make diesel for $.46 a gallon???Whith no heating required. And mixing for 2 min. Sounds a little fishy to me.

Googling the name, I found that they are the same group that was marketing "DieselSecrets" additive..
from what i remember of that, I'd stay away from it......

Diesel secret is just veggie oil, kerosene and gas I think. Its not a good idea. The two proven ways to use veggie oil are a heated conversion or biodiesel.

I gess I will stick with putting my appleseed processor together. Thanks for the info. I did go ahead and order their starter kit just to see what it was all about. Sure enough its waste oil, kerosene, gas and their special addative witch smells just like the addative I buy at walmart for cold weather and cetain boost I know thats not saying much but makes me wonder. Im a mechanic and there has been numerous times someone has come into my shop after putting gas in their diesel vehicle, its not a pretty sight so anything that uses gas to make diesel I will steer clear of.

Go the bio route. You will not be sorry. I breifly looked at blending waste veg oil, and by the time I filtered it, dried it, and finally blended it, the time I spent was the same (if not more) than it would take to make bio.

The process of making bio is not much more cost. The biggest expense is the methanol. Shop around for prices on methanol if you can, and buy it by the 55 gallons (or more) if you can. That will be your best savings. KD
