Biodiesel Processor

I've given up on this almost 5.00 dollars a gallon. I'm going to buy or make a processor does anyone have one setup or doing the same thing in the phoenix area? I filled my tank up once and it almost made me want to go back to Iraq.

There is a number of things to look at , how much oil can you get on a regular bases ?
You should fill in you signature with your truck details & mods , if any , some systems have different issues to be addressed .
Then what kind of budget are you working with , you can get a semi automated processor , the best I've seen so far is a Bio-Pro , they have 2 or 3 models , but to get something like that is $10,000 and up , then you can build your own , but now instead of money you need time , research to get info on building one with surplus parts , like an electric water heater , pumps ect , some have built there own for $300-500 .
Then some basic chemistry .
Heres a do it your self site , but with all do it yourself sites , you can not take everything as facts .
Start asking restaurants for use oil .
Also put your location up , you may find that someone here can work with you .

The PITA these days is getting your hands on the oil. Make sure you can do that before all else. My ability to get WVO will be nil if I don't get certified as a waste hauler with the new legislation here. The loopholes are being closed.

me and my buddy have just bought a mini refinery from back east ($1800) and are going to start making WMO diesel. It will Benifit the farmers and ranchers around here a ton, but also you can garantee that we will benifit from it.
