Has anyone run Acetone in there truck? If so good bad, or what. I heard that it gives you up to 7 more MPG. Is this true? Thanks

Supposed to give a nice bump in milage, but Id be real worried about the damage it could do to your pump seals....

That is what I was thinking, but there are some websites, that say it won't hurt your engine at all?

Them boys that have done it are all busy replacing their IP's.......

Just kidding, but let me ask you, if you really thought it was beneficial, wouldn't it already be in the fuel? I've read all different kinds of malarkey about this trick and that, and so far, none seem to bear out the test of time.

It helps with the atomization of fuel, your lawnmower will benefit but 20000 psi diesel atomizes just fine

The guys on Mythbusters tried it and it did nothin to boost mileage in their tests. It was a busted myth according to them.
