48 mpg in my 12 valve- check my math...

360 miles, 7.4 gals of #2 I DID suplement this with wmo, but it was free so that doesn't count This is as good as a TDI; guess I will stick to my 3/4 ton!!

by the way, I didn't add the 2 fuel filter$ to the mix; teething problems were a , but she seems to be on the right track now. I hate antifreeze contamination in my oil source...

around 20 gal. or so. It does run a little hotter on my egt so I will have to watch that towing.

I may have to ask you to use a different car as your benchmark. I did 586 miles in my 2000 Jetta TDI on 11.9 gallons for 49.2 MPG... BUT my biodesel costs me less than $1.10/gallon to make (including production cost, minus reclaimed methanol) for a final figure of 586 miles on $13.10 of fuel. Or about 2.25 cents per mile.

Yeah, I'm braggin'!!!

OK, I will use my old man's 96 v-10; he fills up every 200 miles if he is careful
