factory tach install on 91?

I had a good trip to the junkyard today found a factory tach and working speedo with 160k. Is there anyway to make this tack work on my 91 non inter-cooled could i maybe install factory cps or hook to alt w wire? Would one of the dakota digital interface boxs work with this tach?

you'll probably need some of the wiring harness, and the crank sensor on the front of the engine.

You will also need the pcm to read the crank sensor signal I would think but I may be wrong.
