Help!! 01' 24v into 00' Excursion v10 A/C and Tach Issues...
Hey guys! First post here...
I recently I have been trying to finish my conversion and I have ran in to this problem because the a/c is not working , there is no power going to the a/c compressor. I researched and called DCS where I bought most of the stuff for the conversion and told them about my issue, which tell told me I needed to have a working tach So that the pcm could send power to the A/C. So I got the ring and sensor (gapped to .015-.020 and can't get it to work.it's a two wire sensor that I know I have to ground one side and the other goes to white/pink #48 on the pcm connector.
Question! Tach signal wire goes to white/pink #48 but after cut does it go to the wire end towards the pcm plug or to the bundle of wires that run under the fender? Any way to bypass pcm so the A/c works? Any way to test signal from sensor? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Update!!!
Finally got the tach to work all I had to do is shim the sensor to make sure the sensors was centered to the teeths. But the A/C still not working!! I have the signal from the sensor going to pin # 48 white/pink and the tach works. But is there another way that the PCM needs to see that the engine is running?
