My 95 12 valve has been having issues to where it will only start with some pressure on the pedal after starting runs amazing has a FASS system any ideas please and thank you

 

I have an early 98 12 valve that does the same thing with the idle set at 750. If I turn up the idle it starts without the pedal. Does not bother me since it starts instantly.

 

Mines idling at about 700 I guess I’ll turn the idle up a little and see what happens

 

If you read the starting instructions from Dodge on the '94-'98.0 12V trucks with the P-pump, they tell you to push the pedal in a little bit when starting them.

As the trucks get older and more miles on them the low idle throttle stop wears in and the idle slowly drops. I own a few P-pumped 12V trucks will not start without some throttle input.
