Cummins powered Winnebago

Was camping last weekend and late Friday night a mid 70's Winnebago pulled in. As he drove by, I recognized the rattle sound and had to investigate (considering there were only 3 dodges in the whole campground, everything else was Ferd, it was almost like a scene out of Deliverance... ). It was a 1990 12 valve with complete drive train under a Winnebago. He said the engine/drive train only has 39,000 miles on it (new truck, rolled in 1990, no insurance). He claims to get 17 to 19 mpg at 60 mph and it never misses a beat. I thought that was the coolest thing, we sat and chatted for awhile. It was a very good conversion, except for the Elvis orange carpeting...
