I am sure this has been covered at length, I just don't know what the right keyword search would be. Can you put a cummins in a '99 ram 1500? I am assuming you need to beef up the suspension to essentially make it a 2500 but is it doable, and not terribly complicated? or is there a lot of changes that have to be made to the body?

 

just look in some of the diesel world mags there is atleast 2 kicking around and they both make like 700 hp so try and contact the guys who built those trucks hope that helps sorry I cant give you more info and I believe both were running 5 bolt axles
