A friend of mine has a 93, running gear and motor in good shape. However the body is kinda rough he just bought a 76 chevy dually in really good shape. We are gonna measure things out this weekend hoping that we can just swap the body over from the chevy hoping to find some info on the forum about this but haven't had any luck, anybody know of this?

 

sure you can. You can do anything, all it takes is cutting and welding.

a buddy did this truck years ago. took a mid 90s chev body and put in on a rolled 1st gen dodge. It was so many years ago now, I cant recall if the diffs were moved to fit the wheel wells or the frame was shortened some. either way there you go. chevy sheet metal, all the rest dodge.

 

Well we are not going to do the swap didn't measure things out just decided against it thanks for the pic 153624 I do wonder if a 80s model chevy would be a good fit on a dodge frame though?

 

73-87 chevy frames are almost all the same.
